Benjamin Smith

Ben serves as an associate on the M&A and Business Development team, with a focus on conducting due diligence and executing deals to acquire new assets. Previously, Ben worked at Enel North America on the project finance team where he helped close numerous tax equity finance transactions for over 1.5GW in project capacity. He also held roles in Enel’s commercial office, structuring and pricing PPA deals with corporate offtakers, with additional experiences at New Columbia Solar and the U.S. Development Finance Corporation. Ben holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics concentrated in Energy, Resources, and the Environment from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
