Nicholas Franklin

Nick joined Lydian in 2024 as the senior commissioning engineer, bringing more than 15 years of experience in program and project management, engineering, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Lydian, he led lithium-ion battery programs at AESC and Microvast with focus on new plant industrialization, lifecycle profitability control, and customer contract management. Before shifting his focus to batteries and renewables, Nick spent extensive time in the automotive manufacturing field with roles in die casting, shop floor operations, and regional industrial strategy. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and an M.B.A. from Western Governors University.
