The Lydian Model

Planned with ambition. Realized with discipline.

In North American power infrastructure, the gap between what gets planned and what actually gets built is the gap that defines the market. Closing it reliably, on schedule, and with discipline is what we do.

How we build

A plan is not a project.
Here's how we close the gap.

A utility-scale power project is finished when several things are true: the land is controlled, permission to connect to grid is obtained, permits are approved, the construction contractor (EPC) is signed, financing is closed, and the offtake is signed. We manage all of them in parallel, under one roof, on every project we own.

01

Site control

We acquire and steward long-term leases and easements for project land, and we treat that relationship as a long-term partnership with the landowner, not a transaction. Site control is the foundation; everything else is built on top of it.

Built for our partners

Different audiences.
Same discipline.

The discipline that makes Lydian financeable to an institutional lender is the same discipline that makes us a good neighbor to a landowner in West Texas. Here’s what it looks like from each side of the table.

01.

For landowners

A long-term partnership, not a transaction.

When we lease your land, we’re committing to be there for the long term. We engage early and explain what we’re doing in plain language. Where the geography supports it, we also work with you on land use — including agrovoltaics — so the project complements how you are already using your land.

02.

For host communities

Local infrastructure, locally explained.

We engage local officials and community stakeholders before we file for permits, not after. We support local hiring during construction, contribute to local tax bases through PILOT and property tax payments, and stay accessible long after commercial operation.

03.

For customers and offtakers

Reliable power, on the contract you signed.

Utilities, corporates, and industrial customers contract with us because we deliver against the schedule and performance terms in the PPA. The platform is built around hitting commercial operation (COD), hitting yield, and operating reliably for the full term, not around the announcement.

04.

For financing counterparties

An institutional counterparty.

We structure financings the way our lenders structure them, with the documentation, reporting, and risk discipline that leading institutions expect. MUFG, CIBC, ING, KeyBank, and our co-investment partners back our projects because the underwriting is rigorous and the execution holds.
