Dawson Richards

Dawson serves as a Project Accountant, bringing expertise in financial accounting and reporting, month-end close processes, and process optimization to support Lydian Energy’s rapid growth in the renewable energy industry. Prior to joining Lydian, he worked as a Staff Accountant at Onward Energy, where he helped enhance internal controls, streamline close processes, and improve financial reporting through advanced Excel solutions. Dawson has completed all requirements for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation and is awaiting official certification. He has also received multiple academic honors, including 4.0 GPA recognitions and leadership roles in student organizations. Dawson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Utah State University’s Huntsman School of Business, where he graduated summa cum laude.
