Gillian Coats

Gillian serves as the Director of Interconnection where she brings over 10 years of experience successfully managing the interconnection of renewable energy projects to the North American grid. Prior to joining Lydian she served as Director of Interconnection for Cypress Creek and Boralex, where she led and managed connecting DG and Utility scale projects in NY, Oregon, Minnesota, Colorado, North Carolina, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Ontario, and Quebec. Before returning to school to study engineering, she was a small business owner in Asheville, NC. Gillian received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
