Derek Sackler

Derek has held various commercial and analytic roles through his career in power industry. He began on a real-time power marketing desk, trading and dispatching over 2,500 MW of combined-cycle, natural gas-fired generating capacity. Following that, he worked in PA Consulting’s energy market analytics practice, supporting power generation investments across the sector. More recently, he led commercial strategy in the Southeast at Pine Gate Renewables before shifting focus toward revenue structuring and trading. He holds degrees in finance and economics from Florida State University.
